Maryland Frederick County Arrested Several Charges Vehicle Stop Suspended Registration Traffic Violation Lawyers Attorneys

Frederick County sheriff’s deputies arrested a New Market man on several charges after initiating a traffic stop in the 5700 block of Elmer Derr Road. The vehicle was stopped because it had suspended registration. The driver, later identified as Jerry Lee Thompson Jr., 41, also gave a fake name to deputies. After an investigation, his identity was discovered and that he was wanted by the sheriff’s office for failing to appear in court on a driving on a revoked license charge. Thompson was charged with driving on a revoked license, giving a false name to police and possession of marijuana.
